31 August 2013: 20th Anniversary Show!!!
Somewhere in the Summer of 1993 this program was launched on KAOS FM in Olympia WA. It was not Ricardo Wang’s first radio show, but it is obviously his longest running. What’s This Called began 20 years ago sometime in the summer of 1993 at KAOS 89.3 FM in Olympia WA and it lived there for ten years. In 2005 it came back to life in Portland OR at http://kpsu.org/ Saturday, August 31st, 2013 from Noon to 1 PM Pacific Time I will be celebrating the 20 years of experimental music, drone, noise, post-punk, and beauty.
